It is our understanding permission need be sought from Monte Cook for anything designated as Product Identity. Anything designated as Open Content may be used in accordance with the Open Gaming License. Please review the Product Identity & Open Game Content sections for each relevant souce carefully before adding any material to the AE Wiki.

Please do not duplicate or explain the function of any rule that is not designated as Open Content, whether it be the original rule or the houserule replacing the original rule if it comes from a published source. Instead, give book titles & page numbers (even if you personally feel it should fall under Fair Use).

The following are from Monte Cook's Arcana Evolved, Grimoire II, Legacy of the Dragons, Mystic Secrets, Ruins of Intrigue, & Transcendence. Feel free to add the relevant sections from other Arcana Unearthed/Evolved sources.

Subject to the Product Identity designation above, the following portions of Monte Cook’s Arcana Evolved are designated as Open Game Content: the “Before You Start” section of the Introduction; the entirety of Chapters One and Four; the racial class tables and the “Racial Traits” sections of Chapter Two; the class tables and “Class Features” sections of Chapter Three; the feats in Chapter Five in their entirety; the magic items and artifacts in Chapter Eight in their entirety; the combat rites in Chapter Nine in their entirety; the names, spell parameters (range, duration, etc.), and game mechanics of the spells in Chapter Nine; the prestige class advancement tables and “Class Features” sections of Chapter Eleven; the statistics and “Combat“ text for the monsters in Chapter Twelve; and anything else contained herein which is already Open Game Content by virtue of appearing in the System Reference Document or some other Open Game Content source.
